The Unforgettable Holiday in Java Island

Holidays are like little treasures in our lives, they bring happiness, joy, and precious memories that we cherish for every moment. Some holidays are planned months in advance, while others happen spontaneously. However, the holidays that leave a lasting impression are often filled with laughter, adventure, and togetherness. I always have one such holiday memory that will always be attached to my heart.

One of my favorite holidays was the 2024 Eid al-Fitr holiday, when I traveled to the island of Java, this trip became one of my most memorable holidays, and it was my very best favorite. These holidays are not only about the trips we take but also the moments we create and the adventure we experience while on holiday. On the island of Java, my family and I visited various tourist attractions and created unforgettable moments. And that's what makes this holiday an “Unforgettable Holiday”.

Started with Jogjakarta City, which was our first destination . In Jogja we explore nearly all the tourist attractions, starting from the legendary famous street , surely you all already know, yea it is "Malioboro"! Our eyes will spoil by all the traditional buildings around Malioboro street, such as Vreederbug Fort and, kraton palace, also along the way of the street there are a lot of shops, street food, and traditional performances too.

On the next day we’re going to Drini Beach, located at Gunung Kidul it takes almost 2 hours to get there from the center of Jogja. Drini Beach is one of the special beaches because small island in the middle that divides the beach into two parts. When we get there, we Will be amazed at the beautiful view of the beach which has natural white sand and crystal clear water. At the beach, My brother and my father, jump for kayaking around, meanwhile, my mother and I explore the small coral island, we hike to the top of the island and enjoy a spectacular sea view from the top.

From beach to mountain, the next day we went to Kaliurang, and Off all the tourist attractions we visited, this is the one that I liked the most, which is the "Merapi Lava tour". At Kaliurang. This tourist spot offers amazing, beautiful mountain views, and we can feel the best mountain weather which the air is so clear and fresh.

My family and I can see the view of Jogja’s volcano from a very beautiful height. When I and my brother saw the volcano, we just like “Wooww MasyaAllah amazing it’s so beautiful!”, because we could see the volcano smoke coming out. And it was also the first time we saw a volcano this close.

We really enjoyed our adventure exploring Kaliurang especially when we took an offroad jeep. Yeah, this tourist spot provides lots of jeeps, maybe even hundreds! My family and I started the adventure to explore the volcanic landscape of one the most active volcanic mountains in Indonesia it is Merapi.

The driver and also our tour guide Drove us to various extraordinary areas affected by the eruption such as bunker Kaliadem, Alien Stone, and the museum of several villages that are filled with abandoned buildings and farms by the local lifestyle. The first time we hit the road with Jeep was super smooth, but once it started entering the volcano area... Wow! The ups and downs of the rocky roads and the winding path make our adrenalin so high.

We followed the route directed by the guide. At the last of our Jeep trip, the driver took us to Kuning River. This former land area is surrounded by a lot of little rivers and Rocky Road is covered with mud. And as soon as we started approaching the river, the driver immediately sped up the jeep...and our Jeep walked through the river, circle and went back through the river again and it created A big splash!! “Wow, all wet!” Our clothes immediately got wet from the splash of water, many other tourists also got wet. But we are All laugh happy.

The experience of riding a jeep was truly an extraordinary experience, we laughed and scared at the same time also amazed by the breathtaking and stunning view creation of Allah SWT. I will never forget this moment.

Our second destination, we go to Malang City. In Malang, it was no less exciting! There were lots of tourist attractions we visited, lots of moments and new things we tried together created very special memories.

Alhamdulillah, I am very happy that this year's Eid al-Fitr I had the opportunity to go to Java. There were lots of new moments and things that my family and I tried, not only that, but there was also education that I could get because the tourist attractions I visited also provided family-friendly education, especially those in Malang.

This year's Eid al-Fitr holiday is truly an unforgettable holiday. Hopefully one day next Eid al-Fitr my family and I can go there again, as well as those of you who have never tried it, Aamiin.

Now, At the end of 2024, my end of semester school holiday started with quality time with my old very best friend. There are six of us. We've been best friends since we‘re a little girl in Aisba Elementary School. After we graduated, we’ve became separated because we chose different Schools for junior high school. Some are in other cities, and some are still in Balikpapan but in different schools.

After 7 months of never seeing each other, on last Thursday my friends and I finally met up for the first time, and we planned to spend time together at the mall. To be honest, planning this hangout time was difficult, since we had different agendas, we almost didn't make it, we even wanted to postpone it to another day, but alhamdulillah finally we were able to do it on Thursday, from noon to evening we spent our day together. We shopped together, ate together, and even played together.

One of the games we played that I loved the most was playing bowling together, this was my first time playing bowling and I was very happy because I could play with my best friends. At first, I wasn't very good at playing it, and neither were my friends, we had a lot of difficulty rolling the ball to the pins.

But in the end, I started to expert my strength and I started rolling the ball hard like "Woosh", and it was very useful because in the end the pins all hit, and I got 2 spares. Alhamdulillah at the end I was very surprised because it turned out that I was very good and even got the highest points among my friends, as the winner of the highest points, one of my friends promised, whoever got a win she could buy goods freely and yes, I won the game so I could buy whatever I wanted and she would pay it. Haha, I'm sorry my friend, but I won.

Not only was I playing bowling for the first time, I also had my first photobooth and I did it with them. We got our first photo booth after we had lunch, we ate ramen together because we all like ramen. This is one of the moments we look forward to the most and it is also a moment that we will cherish forever with the photos we took.

This end of semester holiday has just started, and I am very happy, thankfully it started with my best friends! Alhamdulillah, I am very grateful because my holiday was filled with unforgettable happiness. I hope that one day, whatever holiday comes, my holiday can also be filled with happiness with my friends again, hopefully, I can meet them again. Aamiin.
